CHRISTIAN KARATE MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Twin Tigers Karate Academy is setting the standard of excellence in teaching karate with a Christian emphasis. We teach Tang Soo Do Korean karate which has a balance of forms, sparring, hand and foot techniques and breaking. The quality of instruction and encouragement is kept at the highest level.
Twin Tigers go beyond the technical to reach the heart of each student. Twin Tigers is a family affair. We encourage families to take karate together as well as encourage families to take part in our activities. Keeping our students informed is integral to this unity. This is done in part by monthly newsletters, calendars, picnics, celebrations, awards ceremony, and much more. Our students are a loving and supportive “family of friends” who pray with each other and for each other.
Twin Tigers instructors challenge their students to do their very best all the time. Doing their personal best is a high achievement. These qualities join together to produce students who excel in many other areas of their lives, develop healthy self-esteem, and learn the values and virtues not often seen in today’s society.
Twin Tigers Karate Academy opened in May 1996. The instructors Nick and Matt Coffman were 15 years old at the time. Having been trained in South Florida, Matt and Nick felt led to use their talents for the Lord here in Georgia. Beginning first in a church, Twin Tigers now has a studio in Barrow County, GA, in the community to serve the community.
Twin Tigers is a member of the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce. We are Partners in Education with Barrow County Schools and teach after school classes in elementary schools. Twin Tigers endeavors to be a part of the community and serve in any way we can.

Ministry Team
Twin Tigers has a ministry and performance team. We prepare programs to fit almost any situation. Our team members are high quality students who learn to share their talent as well as the Good News of Jesus Christ with others. The performance consists of attention-getting exciting karate stunts proceeding with skits, testimonies, songs and powerful conclusion by using karate to share a message of hope and faith to all.
